Ciudad de Guatemala.<\/strong> Luego de tres d\u00edas de competencias, Guatemala cierra con 2 medallas de oro, en la modalidad de persecuci\u00f3n individual con Manuel Rodas, quien sum\u00f3 un tiempo de 4 minutos, 38 segundos y 270 mil\u00e9simas, a lo que se sum\u00f3 la victoria de Yamilet Jim\u00e9nez y Nicole Rodr\u00edguez, quienes se llevaron la medalla de oro en la velocidad por equipos con 36:247.<\/p>\n

Debido a las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas el cuerpo de comisarios, encabezado por el Comisario Internacional UCI, Pedro Fr\u00edas, se vieron en la obligaci\u00f3n de suspender definitivamente  los \u00faltimos eventos del Campeonato Centroamericano de Pista y Copa UCI, en el Vel\u00f3dromo Nacional, Zona 13, debido a la lluvia que afect\u00f3 a la ciudad capital.<\/p>\n

M\u00e9xico finaliz\u00f3 como campe\u00f3n del medallero oficial con 13 en total; Guatemala \u201cA\u201d logr\u00f3 sumar 2  de oro,  para un total de 7, qued\u00e1ndose en el segundo lugar; y Colombia fue tercero con  6 en  total.<\/p>\n

Guatemala alcanza 20 plazas a los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe 2017, Barranquilla 2018, concretando uno de los objetivos principales de la temporada. (Nery Ajsivinac, Prensa<\/em> F.G.C)<\/strong><\/p>\n
